I am from Tamil Nadu, India, and completed my Bachelor's degree from Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU), Coimbatore, before joining IISER Tirupati as a PhD student in January 2026. I am broadly interested in understanding how plants perceive and respond to heat stress, and what enables them to develop tolerance upon repeated exposure. My work aims to uncover the regulatory mechanisms behind this resilience and translate those findings towards building stress-tolerant crops for the future.
