A Bit About Me

I completed my postdoctoral research at Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Tirupati (IISER Tirupati), where my work focused on developing climate-resilient crops through understanding the molecular basis of abiotic stress adaptation in plants. Prior to this, I earned my Ph.D. in Botany from University of Calcutta, where I investigated the molecular mechanisms underlying stress tolerance in rice, particularly elucidating the role of the OsR40g3 gene in salt stress tolerance.

My research interests extend to drought response regulation, iron homeostasis, and transcription factor-mediated regulatory networks, reflecting my broader interest in plant molecular biology and stress resilience mechanisms. Through my research, I aim to contribute toward the development of sustainable and climate-resilient crop systems.
 

Beyond research, I enjoy, reading, and watching films.
