A Bit About Me

I received my Ph.D. degree in Botany from University of Calcutta. In April 2024, I joined the Ada Lab as a postdoctoral researcher and completed my postdoctoral research there in 2026.

My research focused on understanding the role of small regulatory molecules in establishing thermopriming-mediated heat stress memory in rice. Through this work, I aimed to uncover molecular mechanisms underlying stress adaptation and resilience in plants. My research was supported by Science and Engineering Research Board (DST-SERB).

Currently, I am working as a postdoctoral researcher in the lab of Felix Fritschi at University of Missouri.

In my free time, I enjoy listening to music, watching Netflix, and travelling for wildlife photography.
